FARM NOTES:

Annie's breeding has been everything we asked for and then some! She is so easy to milk and is very productive. She was able to get her milk star on production, fat, and protien as a first freshening yearling, which anyone on milk test knows isn't an easy feat for a yearling!

Sadly Annie didn't freshen in 2017. She kept coming back into heat, and by the time I realized she wasn't taking it was too late in the season for her to be bred for nationals. But thanks to the great reproductive vets at the University of Pennsylvania we were able to establish she was fine and she got pregnant for 2018. Her 2F udder in 2018 has been amazing! I love the balance and symmetry when viewing it from the side, not to mention how high it is! I wish I could move the teats in a bit more, but they've improved a lot since her first freshening.
